Having previously cut Julie's hair, I carried out a further consultation and between us we decided I was going to personalise the style by adding some great colour. Working the colour around the cut, I concluded that It would look great for the top to go lighter by specifically placing the foils and then implementing colour touch through the rest of the hair creating the depth. The colour worked really well with this disconnected hair cut, enhancing this short, funky, textured, contemporary take on a bob.
Julie's Make-up was created mainly using MAC make-up. I worked on her eyes first, looking to achieve a day make-up that would be contemporary and natural. Having completed the eyes mainly using a selection of browns, I then worked on the skin using a MAC foundation which really gave this fresh appearance. Julie's lips were achieved using a lip stick from the Jane Iredale mineral make-up range which complemented the finished look.
